Confirmed as the greatest pulled pork you'll ever have

Nothing beats it honestly. Made this yesterday for family and they were equally amazed.

Greatest part is, this pulled pork is go good that you literally don't need sauce. The drippings and the added butter and sugar post-wrap really take it over the top. Better than any bbq joint.

If you're worried about this not being healthy with the added butter and sugar then what the hell are you doing cooking pulled pork? Make a pork loin instead.

Here is how you make it:

-Wet-brine 1 Boston butt 24 hours

-Add rub and rest 24h

-Smoke at 225 with water pan in the cook chamber until internal temp reaches 160, while spritzing with apple juice every 30 minutes or so

-Place in foil pan just about the right size for it

-Add one stick of butter, more rub, and 1-2 cups of brown sugar (to preference) and cover the top of the pan and butt with foil

-Cook covered until internal temp is 203 across the butt

-Rest for 2 hours

-"Pull" the meat apart and mix drippings and butter/ sugar left over in the bottom of the pan into the meat as you pull

-Serve on a bun or by itself with some thin vinegar style sauce on the side

Haha alright next cook in two weeks I will take a bunch. This time I made st louis ribs, pork butt, brisket, and pork loin. All came out really amazing actually. Brisket I wrapped a little early to get past the stall so while it didn't have the melty type of fat and nice crust it did render down very nicely and taste good. That's probably the only one that didn't look good in pictures but tasted good.

My smoker was fuckin dirty after but well worth it
