I've wondered about like... "moral" security guards that end up guarding horribly criminal clients. Specifically, when the guard knows for certain that behind the door he is guarding, his boss is raping a child... how does a man stand by and do nothing?
How does he not kick that fucking door in and shoot the fucker hurting the child? Or making a deal that will bring the world's economy to its knees? Or planning a false flag? And NONE of these guards or staffers that sort of orbit these plotting motherfuckers ever speak up or act.
Is it the money? Are the guards forced to partake in some kind of activity which can be used to blackmail them for their silence? Are the guards carefully vetted and determined to not be heroes before they are ever hired?
One can get used to witnessed or even performing atrocities... it's just hard to imagine as a regular guy like me.
