István Szapudi, an astronomer from the University of Hawaiʻi, argued his far-fetched concept was merely an enormous ‘solar shield’.

The shield – which would be made of the ultra strong ‘wonder material’ graphene – would block energy from the sun and cool down our planet.

They always were. Psychos, narcissists, and general snobs high on the smell of their own farts, and nowhere near as intelligent as they think they are. Intellectuals are part of the traitor class responsible for pushing third world shitskins into White working class areas.

Just some idiot looking for press. First, you don't need an asteroid to make graphene, second, there's no factory yet that can make it in that amount, third, you only need a thin layer of aluminum foil to block the sun, using a large number of micro-sats to keep the foil in place(the foil would not be all in one chunk).

Blocking the sun would, of course, kill all life on earth.
