We have had this in NYC for the past 10-12 years at least, but this group is twice as big as what we normally experience. We might get 60 or 70 at once. A lot of them make their way into Manhattan from the Bronx and Brooklyn. When they were in smaller groups of 5-10, the cops would stop them and confiscate their bikes and quads because they’re not street legal on addition to flouting traffic. Then, NYPD would crush a couple hundred bikes at a time and make sure that the NY Post got pics and video of it as a “fuck you” to these guys. The good old days.
