At age 19, I as in London and went to several punk concerts. Even saw the SexPistols. Sure it was all fake and gay and commie, but I first saw Frank Zappa there and boy, what a bore.

That's pretty much what punk was in the 70s. It was a fashion statement. If one were call oneself a punk, one had to wear the uniform. Pretty much like all youth movement, particularly the hippies.

Malcolm Mclaren was the usual suspect. Born in 1946, so one of the post war culture killers. His mother was a jew OF COURSE, and fucked around on his daddy.
