Wow never heard of this event. I can't believe no one died. Also very convenient that all of the plans were kept on site with no backup at corporate.
Very interesting how the lake went from 10' deep freshwater and ended up 200' deep brackish.

Yeah, this gives me a LOT of new respect for miners and cave workers. It's a tough job that always has risks every time you show up on site. The most prevalent thing from the video was about how mines are most often built using the mine material as the supports for the mine itself. That's crazy, but makes a lot of sense. Bringing in outside materials for reinforcing the mines would be pretty costly.
