Couple months ago I was riding down one of the back roads, and there on the side was a bald eagle feeding on roadkill. It grabbed it's meal and took flight as we approached, but if it waited just two seconds it would have been roadkill itself. I thought the whole thing was painfully ironic. Never saw one in the wild before, but it was certainly not the majestic creature that I had been led to believe it was.
