The government owning and operating Tik Tok may kill it rapidly due to user's Big Brother concerns, or slowly due to standard government operation in a free market sector.

Tik Tok will not be profitable, it probably is not now- it is a data mining operation extraordinaire. This makes the value to owners something other than money profit.

US Govt killing Tik Tok may be preferable to China operating the massive data mining op. If the goal is not to just kill it, then US Govt Tik Tok will need some massive firewall between spooks and data -HAHAHAHAHAHA-, or it will need re-sold to non-governmental operators.

I like the sovereign wealth fund idea. It is part of the only ethical currency standard.

Taking down an app will not stop the concept, it will just create copy cats. Hence this entire exercise is useless and a complete waste of money

Tik tok is already jew owned, which is effectively government owned. They own all the social media.

I don't think this really impacts their ability to spy on TikTok one way or another. It does make it more obvious.
