THE IMPORTANCE OF DETAIL...

submitted by Zyklonbeekeeper to HDLunited 1 monthJan 16, 2026 21:20:00 ago (+5/-0)     (HDLunited)

...particularly with historical dating.

A previous post referenced whether chronological specifics were important to a historical narrative ie timeline dating, ie the Battle of Thermopolae 480BCE, The Punic Wars 264-146BCE or the 2nd sacking of Jerusalem by Tiberius in 68-70CE etc, I'll throw in one more, Battle of Vienna Sept 11th 1683...but yes, dating is an integral part of history that cannot be separated.

I don't know how many OPs here have been involved with the law and the litigious grief it aims to impose but when defending or accusing it's the specifics that show credibility...one false statement, one misspoken inaccuracy or inability to validate relative or extraneous particulars will present one as
disreputable and unreliable, basically one will be considered just a common Joe looking for attention.

When one gives accurate specifics, such as precise times and dates or any academic correlation, it's pretty hard to discredit that person's position with regards to their knowledge or recollection of perceived factors relative to the current topic, whatever it is.

Anybody can engage in meaningless conversation and spew shit but those who know the importance of facts know that there's a precise timing involved with those facts.

FYI...WHEN IN COURT, REFERENCING NOTES FROM A DAILY JOURNAL ALSO ADDS TO CREDIBILITY, IT SHOWS AN INTEREST FOR DETAIL.

It means the difference between "not guilty and 7years jail" or a deadbeat client ordered to pay up or not.

AND THAT'S THE TRUTH
