Licorice is great. You need to segregate them and eat separately.
When the nose starts feeling sweaty you are about to overdose on salt

Someone should do a single blind test using test subjects who hate the taste of licorice and crime so it can then be scientifically determined: just how many black jellybeans does it take to ruin an entire bowlfull of jellybeans?

We can then take the outcome of said study and refer to the results as the blackpill henceforth.

The answer is 1. One nigger jellybean ruins the whole bowl.

It overpowers the taste of the ones you already ate, and the lingering aftertaste ruins the ones yet to be eaten.

But the niggerbean doesn't rub off on other jelly beans. Only if you relax and accidentally eat one.

Black jellybeans matter. I never understood the hate for them. I really like the taste of anisette flavored liquor too, like absinthe or Ouzo.

they are like land mines, eating jelly beans in the dark is dangerous

the white ones are the best

TIL some people actually eat the black jellybeans. Yuck!

[ - ] iSnark 2 points 1 monthMay 3, 2024 00:10:24 ago (+2/-0)

It's kind of an acquired taste, when I was a kid I couldn't stand it, as I got older and my tastes changed, I just started eating it. And now I Want some... YOU BASTARDS! lol ;-)

[ - ] Master_Foo 2 points 1 monthMay 3, 2024 08:23:14 ago (+2/-0)

Black licorice jelly beans are not black licorice.

Best case scenario, you separate them out from the rest of the flavors and eat them separate.

You know, like how we used to do with blacks in schools.

Well, it does get its flavor from 'anus' seeds

[ - ] rabidR04CH 1 point 1 monthMay 3, 2024 13:25:06 ago (+1/-0)

They're an acquired taste, but I would admit that I genuinely don't like licorice much.

TIL: The waxy coating on jelly beans is shellac, also known as confectioner's glaze, natural glaze, pure food glaze, or confectioner's resin. Shellac is a resin secreted by the female lac bug after it drinks tree sap. The bug's dung is scraped from the trees and, through a heating and cooling process, is transformed into flat sheets of dried shellac. The glaze contains lac bug resin and ethyl alcohol, which dissolves the resin. The result is a thick, sticky consistency that resembles a lacquer.

Also, it is harvested by old women in India. In short, jelly beans have a coating of bug shit. Enjoy your candy!
