Anyone know of the origins of using gold / yellow stars as a reward for kids? Anything could be used for psychological validation but gold stars are among the most common. Especially when in the education system. Were gold star stickers / paper cut outs mandated and if so why?

Since it is a felony in some locations to fuck with political signs, it occurred to me that signs could be made to just say things like “is a traitor,” “is a RINO,” “supports the SPLC,” or “is a jew.” We plop these signs in front of political signs to show what we think of these assholes. Hell, “is an asshole.” could be a sign. And of course they could have some little words on them to make sure they are considered political signs. If anyone fucks with them, boom you’re a felon. We could even set up the left with camera (trail cams) to make sure they get caught.

In the past drinking alcohol was artificially made taboo. Now we have a verbal prohibition.

Sites where you can communicate what you want with minimum limitations are a lot like the old speakeasy. (The name even fits well.) Hidden in the corners of the digital world and visited by many despite constant external pressure and demonization.

If the powers that be find fault with what you make all of what you have created and shared is likely to be flushed down the drain in an instant. You might even voluntarily do so yourself from time to time for safety.

When one speakeasy is found and destroyed people switch to another. Having a good time until some trouble makers try to destroy it as well like the many that came before.
