Look into total solar power.
There are some cool power management tools to implement as cost allows.
Once set up and running it pays for it's self.
Anytime there is a power cut I get a message asking to swith banks to solar and I can in seconds.
You have to cut the breaker to main feed so you don't send power into the grid.
