I think this is the only time I've ever given anything close to an "ultimatum" in our relationship.
She respected my request and as we both have gotten much older and a bit more mature - we both avoid toxic friendships and relationships. There have been times where I say "Hey, I haven't seen Julie in a while - are you still friends with her?" And her response: "No, she just wants to complain about both her Ex and her current husband. It's nauseating, I don't have time for that."
Today, by intention and self-selection - neither of us have any relationships/friendships with any divorced people. Male or female - stay away from toxic people in bad relationships ... that shit wears off on you.

- Unlike passwords, you can't create a new biometric ... so you can't create a new digital hash
With enough of this crap, we will eventually hear about billions of uniquely identifiable hashes being stolen and resold ... likely back to your own government. Finger prints, palm scans, face scans, retinal scans, etc.

Had a female relative coerced into taking the HPV vaccine. She wasn't a risk candidate given her and her husband's strong moral opinions on monogamy. But the shit Dr. wanted to make an extra buck so he pushed her hard, promised no side-effects, etc.
After being very healthy her entire life, she developed a debilitating autoimmune disorder 2 weeks later and has bounced in/out of disability for the 15+ years. It's been heartbreaking to watch.
Bottom line: casual sex isn't risk free. And, neither are vaccines. Best bet might be to just stay away from both.
I guarantee that they will provide (to name a few broad categories):
- Health care and education as part of their mandatory "universal" systems.
- Policing, the judicial system.
- Public transportation. (If memory serves: German train tickets are heavily subsidized ... so there is a real cost there when a non-tax payer uses it even when paying a token amount.)
- Sanitation, park clean-up, etc. (Someone's got to clean-up the poop in the public parks ... won't be the invaders.)
Whatever your views on these public services for the citizens of the country ... that doesn't matter. The point being: these invaders will continue to drain the public coffers by continuing to use so-called "public services".
Yes, we shouldn't be restricted in arms. But, anyone who says that fighter jets and ballistic missiles are required to defeat tyrants is either a fool or liar.
Look no further than the Iraq and Afghan wars. 100K+ troops with a $500M+ budget against ~10K fighters with Kalashnikovs and home made bombs.
The minimum that's required to defeat tyrants is small arms and an understanding that you've got nothing to lose. They want to take the small arms before we collectively realize we have nothing else to lose.

529 plans are the way to go if you think there might be higher education in their future. Look for one with very low annual fees and zero entry/exit fees. Vanguard, Troweprice, etc.

When each of my kids were young, I dumped some cash in each kid's fund. Fast forward 15 years, and the returns have been 3-4X and this is enough to cover a majority of their college needs.
