If that’s the case, I change my stance because besides the windows thing there isn’t anything else suspicious. To me the windows can easily be a mistake of pushing the wrong buttons. I’ll have to rewatch
This. It only helps the media to continue to attempt to discredit that particular truth movement. The 911 truth movement alone can redpill the entire world if it is successful.
Has anyone researched this teachers social media past? Maybe the comment really was taken out of context and she’s actually a conservative and the school is using this as an excuse to get rid of her?
I’m just throwing this out there as a possibility.
I never understood the reasoning of this? Our big cities were built by white people and cater to white people. Saying we need to stay out of cities is conceding territory. I imagine a world where they are ours once again.
All good points. Also, none of Derek’s points or insults point to the jewish question. It makes Derek appear to be belligerently lashing out at the jew. The anger Derek feels is certainly justified but to the audience he can easily be dismissed because of this.
Now relating Derek to anyone here who has had their eyes opened, we can most definitely relate because it is very likely we have all gone through some stage of anger. This brings me back to my original point about having to find better ways to point out the manipulation “the jew cries out as he strikes you” in a level headed manner. I’m not a pacifist and I am quite certain this will all lead to violence at some point but it is crucial we focus on waking up as many as possible before that day comes (fourteen days).
There has to be someone out there who can remain calm while being attacked on all sides, someone who can easily articulate the manipulation and subversion happening, someone who can do it in a way that appears non-violent and in a matter of fact way.
> It is interesting watching this and other scenes 20+ years later. I can see now how the film manipulates the audience politically. It is similar to, but much subtler than the way Cameron manipulates his audience. Any valid point Derek might make about immigration or personal/community responsibility, etc (those "he's kinda got a point" moments you allude to), is immediately framed as racist by virtue of it coming out of a skinhead's mouth, accentuated by the character spewing racial epithets within a sentence of its utterance. This leaves the viewer associating stricter border immigration policy with being racist, same with questioning the effectiveness of social justice programs, questioning the motives of rioters, etc.. And since being a racist is the worst thing you can be, something 99% of Americans don't want to be, the viewer has no choice but to support the political views of those opposite Derek. In sum, the movie serves more than a tale of the evils of racism, it is one of the earliest examples of the media framing everything that's not progressive as racist for political gain.
It’s exactly this. I no longer give a shit what people think about my views but we need to be better at illustrating the manipulation in order to open more eyes. This is crucial

This is clearly a take on some dystopian future. The man is remembering his past.
