I just tested this with various searches and it is WAY better than jewgle.
The best one is, if you compare results for "voat" on millionshort vs google, millionshort gives an actual link to voat.xyz, some wiki articles on what it is, and some other actually legit articles about what voat is (even if it mentions negative points, they are still legit articles)....

The video of it looks fake to me as well. The way he falls to his knees looks like acting, and there's no blood despite one of the paramedics saying he couldn't tell if the shot came from the front or back, so clearly it went straight through and took some flesh - where's the blood?
And then of course the videos are conveniently blurry like a 1990s home video, in 2022 when everyone (especially in japan) has a phone with like 3 HD cameras on it...
