I don't know man. Maybe it's hedonism. I used to go out to concerts a lot. Mostly smaller Atlanta local bands. I'm too old for that shit now. Chefs and high end dining get treated like rock stars now. Maybe it's trying to live vicariously. Who knows.

I appreciate good food and I get very irritated when I go out and pay money for food that isn't as good as what I can make myself. I think that's key though. I've got decent kitchen skills. These people might not and they're trying to live a life that isn't theirs.

Who knows. Fuck 'em.

I've been into comics since 1992. I greatly enjoyed the early MCU stuff. Eventually the movies got worse and worse and I checked out of it entirely several years ago. A good Fantastic Four movie would have been the thing to reignite interest. I love the Fantastic Four.

But nope. We're not getting that.

All of my long term hobbies have gone into the shitter due to woke bullshit. They're making a Daredevil: Born Again series. It's not going to have anything to do with the Born Again story from the comics that Frank Miller wrote. Why bother then? It's one of THE defining Daredevil stories, but yet they're intentionally fucking it up.

It's all so tiresome.

Damn shame. That dude was ridiculously passionate about comics, and an absolute wealth of knowledge. I was really bummed to find out about this. Cartoonist Kayfabe is one of only three comics channels I'm subbed to.

The leftist cunts involved are probably giggling to themselves about it too while Ed's family, friends, and Jim Rugg in particular are struggling.

I'm in Georgia, but super close to the state border. Rock Mills, Roanoke, Lake Wedowee, and that general area are tiny and nice. Those are all about 45 minutes away from me and I've considered moving to that area.

Stay the absolute fuck away from Birmingham, Auburn, Mobile, Montgomery, Opelika, Anniston, and basically any other larger city.

The coastal area is nice and the wife and I really like Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. It's got a beach town feel without being overly expensive and tacky.

Edit - I forgot Phenix City. Phenix City is one of the biggest shitholes I've ever seen in my entire life. I thought Columbus was bad, but Phenix City is it's retarded and ugly little brother.
