Parent Educators; it is basically an association of parent teachers that work to fix "the system". Doesn't mean it is noble or free of corruption but it pulls a lot of weight.
Not a sheeboon; but I have a similar story... I work IT in a small town public school. We recently had this bitch move from the Boise area here. This women is a raging cunt. I am setting up her computer for her and walking her through the systems and she is going on and on about how it is different and we don't have as nice of things and bla bla bla. She leaves to go to lunch and returns a few minutes later stating she left her lights on and her car won't start. Her attitude does a 180 and looks to me and says "do you jump cars?"... I looked her in the eye and said "not since I met you"... You can imagine her reaction.
Actually I am the IT guy for the school district and we do home school our son. I live in small town Idaho and IT jobs are few and far between. One of the teachers and I were discussing the possibility of starting a charter school or something to that effect; the same has been done in the neighboring town. Minimalist teaching, very little technology (which I like, I enjoy the IT field, I also think Wifi and endless screen time is bad for kids) but that idea fizzled out. I think the biggest hurtle would be the poverty in this area; no one wants to risk their job as there is no where to go if you loose it.

It was a calculated response. I don't know if she actually believes in the Coof; but she strait up told me she doesn't believe in the effectiveness of masks to prevent the spread of viruses. Rather than taking the "JEWS DID IT" approach; I chose to appeal to her humanity (doubtful it is there) and engage in the current topic; that causing harm wasn't a solution to appease those that are fearful.

Commands should be similar you will just enter "su" then run them without sudo. Unless you enabled sudo on Debian and then I like you more.
