Mine was researching World War 1 and learning about the 1919 revolution for the first time. I had started to get interested in the Great War. It was something glazed over in every history class. Then I began to wonder why did the Kaiser step down?? So I start to research it. I start looking up the leaders who led the revolt. Most of them were Polish Jews. It was like a puzzle piece clicked into place. German antisemetism made sense now! But then I asked myself why there were so many Polish Jews in Germany at the end of the Great War. That’s when I fell down the rabbit hole.
