NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb has confirmed her office would no longer distribute bottles of gin and has ordered a review of the organisation's gift policies following accusations made under parliamentary privilege.
In her statement today, Commissioner Webb said she had since reviewed the stock and gift register and "can confirm 32 bottles have been distributed as gifts or donated for charity purposes".
The complaint alleged the commissioner had a conflict of interest which she failed to declare.
