You may have previously seen my beat up Polaris Ranger.
I've been doing a lot of work to it, replaced the CVT drive and driven sheaves, belt, all front end A-arm bushings, shock bushings, driver-side A-arms and ball joints and stuff.
Well, today I was driving it back from the "ranch", which is like 5 miles up the county road, cruising at top speed 50mph. About 1000 yards from my house, the chinesium belt I installed exploded. Had to walk the rest of the way home and get my trusty Honda TRX 350ES quad and go tow it the rest of the way to the house. Luckily my new "super badass," actually high quality belt came in today a day earlier than expected, so I already got the sheaves cleaned up and new belt installed this evening with the help of a lantern and loud music. Hopefully I disturbed the fucking spic next door with my loud metal music.
I have an offroading trip planned this weekend, so good thing I had an extra belt to throw on.
But first, on an unrelated note, tomorrow I have a competitive skeet-shooting competition to go to. Just for fun. My fiance is on my team, she camt shoot clays for shit bit ahe will have a lot of fun, shes never done that before.
I doubt we will win, but it will be fun.
And then Saturday we are leaving for the off-road area to go cruise some trails and try not to break more shit in the Ranger. Maybe Ill post pics, especially if I get into a funny or cool situation in the Ranger.
Thank yoi for your attention to this matter.
