this one WAS off the front page. in the one i just posted https://www.upgoat.net/viewpost?postid=67b4946647d48 i mentioned i forgot to go to /r/popular so i had found that one on my home page. however this one was off the front page and that first one had about 10x the number of views and upvotes.

*okay to be fair - this was on the top of MY front page. i forgot to go to /r/popular. i don't know if it will show the same post on /r/popular now that i've already visited it. in any case the only reason it would put /r/law on my front page is because i had visited it previously, off of the front page and if this was high enough on /r/law it stands to reason that it wouldn't be too far down on /r/popular but admittedly, im not going to go look for it to try and confirm that hypothesis.
