Does anyone remember Jeff Smith, "The Frugal Gourmet"? Did anyone else get a weird gay vibe from the guy? If you did, you were right
(current.org)https://current.org/1998/07/cooking-star-pays-plaintiffs-in-sexual-abuse-suits/His career hosting an NPR cooking show ended when allegations came from seven men who filed a suit against Smith, claiming he molested them when they were teens in the 1970s. There were also a dozen other men who claimed the same thing but chose not to join the lawsuit but were willing to offer testimony. In 1998, his production company settled with the plaintiff out of court, their insurance agreeing to pay an estimated $5 million dollars.
I worked all of the time in the 1990s, but I was learning to cook then (because my wife is a wretched cook) and someone gave me a paperback copy of his cookbook. I took one look at it and knew this guy was a closet fag.

I decided not to use the cookbook just for that reason. I used an enormous "Good Housekeeping" cookbook that was my mothers that I still have.
The field of cuisine seems to draw closet fags to it. I got the same vibe from Alton Brown, who's also a fag. Television is an incredible waste of time, and cooking shows are among the lowest forms of infotainment (except for Julia Child, who was charming and guileless).
