The deceased were called Gullah. Freed slaves largely from Angola, hence the corrupted name.

I was raised as a young boy near Parris Island US Marine Corps Base in coastal South Carolina. We would see these Gullah niggers but never interacted with them and they avoided White people.

When schools were integrated, they were exempt from going to school at all. Their Creole language made them impossible to communicate with by educators.

There's still at least a half million Gullahs still living in coatal areas.

It was obviously a really stupid idea because the technology was unsafe, and those involved were liars, and the scientific process was thrown out the window, and there were huge conflicts of interest.
