Something in his voice would change when we'd go past the tiny old house he was raised in, I was too young to understand it back then. Now I realize it's that particular feeling you get when you go back home and it's still the same and completely different, the feeling of knowing you can't go all the way back. Anyway, this song reminds me of that.
