https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/licorice_pizzaI like his movies, to a point. I think he's an exceptional film maker, but he has a tendency to be rather vulgar at times and seems to find some fascination with deviance. That kind of takes me out of it when I'm watching.
But I won't watch "Licorice Pizza" because the lead is some ugly jewess named Alana Haim. It's a shame, too, because I grew up in Southern California in the 1970s, so it was a very formative time for me. I even remember when the record chain "Licorice Pizza" was in business (which is where the movie gets its title from).
So, I'll pass on this one.
