There are many places where "fees" are paid by the people that get regulated. This doesn't necessarily mean there is corruption, although there are definitely signs that it might be true.
The worst part is the revolving door - FDA "scientists" rotate out and go straight into executive positions at (((big pharma))) and "former executives" are tapped to fill FDA positions.
That is the scam. It is all a brotherhood of foxes guarding the henhouse.
Same with FCC and tech. That is one of the problems with (((government)))
