Usually we think of delighted children scampering around searching for brightly-coloured eggs and symbolic rabbits hopping with baskets. However though these seem to be modern, they actually originate before the birth of Christianity. The pagan spring festival includes Ester, or Eostre, and it is a slightly different celebration of the holiday than most of us would think. Johnny Scott investigates this ancient spring festival.

I agree that christianity contains many distinctively european ideas and values, but it's also heavily wedded to a foreign culture which is at odds with our own. Two of them actually.

Firstly Roman imperial culture. The romans created the prototype for globalism, they were the first soviet style empire suppressing a wide variety of national cultures and homogenising them into a slaveocracy. Their religion was formed to support that social order, it emphasises obedience to central power, universal brotherhood and extreme intolerance to any potentially competeing loyalty. I don't think it's possible to have a society observe that religion and fail to lapse into the habit of behaving like imperial serfs.

Secondly jewish culture. The decision to place jewish history and mythology at the center of our culture is extraordinarily destructive. Myths and fables help a nation generate pride and a mutual bond. But instead of bonding with each other we're telling our children stories about the greatness of a foreign nation and bonding over our adoption of their culture.

Christian history is full of europeans trying to correct for this cognative dissonance by trying to write whites into biblical history somehow, much like the Romans tried to write themselves into the Illiad. And of course it also leads many christians to practically worship jews and spend their entire lives trying to benefit them.

I don't see a solution to this problem which doesn't involve the rejection of the bible as it's currently codified. Even if we want to hang on to christianity as a broader philosophy, everything jewish and globalist has to be scoured out of it. The roman book has to go.
