It's really upsetting when a series that was doing a great job telling a story suddenly goes off the rails from the tale they were telling and starts on the track of a new inferior storyline that it makes no sense for the work to follow, often with little explanation.

I think the problem is that they get new writing staff, these writers are supposedly fans of the show and accomplished in their craft.

In truth, they aren't fans of the show at all, they simply shoehorned their own plot that was a very generic storyline which fit into the plot of the show like an elephant would fit into a thimble, and to make it fit they had to abuse the omnipotence given to them over the universe and its residents.

The popular characters you know have their minds swapped out for those of complete strangers, entire arcs are aborted for the generic ones these hack writers had in mind, the show itself had died and now simply had yet to stop moving.

This is what you get when a bunch of liberal fanfiction writers are given the reins over your story, they make it into something else entirely, something unrecognizable, something devoid of creativity and just all around worse.

They will make your main characters gay, they will insert some blacks into the story and have these new characters hog the spotlight, they will write some feminist fantasy and force the story into becoming focused on that, they will have no regard for anything except using your setting, story, and characters as skins for them to insert their own into.

Because these hacks couldn't ever write a successful work on their own, they have to find someone else's creation that's already popular, and use it like a dead skin mask for the garbage they want to shill to that work's fans, essentially using your creation to trick your audience into witnessing their shitshow of leftist propaganda.

This is the new expected standard for any successful franchise, it gets hollowed out and the husk left behind is filled with liberal socjus drivel. Propaganda thinly disguised as failed entertainment.

The culture we live in is one that's unhealthily obsessed with queers and niggers, every bit of media has to have them displayed prominently, and the audience will try their best to force them into anything where they are not seen.

Even when they have no direct control over the content of your media, they will try to change it to conform to their political ideology by harassing the creator until they cave.

If that fails, they will try to steal the work away from their creator to hand it over to someone whose obsessed with promoting leftism, and this fucker os guaranteed to mismanage the hell out of the material until it loses its appeal.

These despicable creatures of the world are corrupters, if anything is even mildly popular it must be made black and gay, the idea is to use popular media like a dead skin suit, as a way to sneak in exposure to profag pronig propaganda, even if it destroys the media franchise in the process. These arent fans of anything but the corruption of our culture, they just know that claiming to be fans of whatever it is they try to pervert is what gets them some degree of power over it.

They lie about what they love so that they may destroy it, they are the absolute perversions of what it means to be a fan.

The left can't stand anything that doesn't agree with them, they will comb over the world to find dissent, just to snuff it out, any piece of media that isn't shilling their beliefs is not to be permitted to exist.
