"I am not aware of any similar case of a leading international scholar who suffered such a dire fate for quietly stating his historical opinions, even during in darkest days of Stalinist Russia or any of the other totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century. Although this astonishing situation taking place in a West European democracy of the “Free World” did receive considerable media exposure within Europe, coverage in our own country was so minimal that I doubt that today even one well-educated American in twenty is even aware it ever happened.
One reason that most of us still believe that the West remains a free society is that Our American Pravda works so hard to conceal the important exceptions."

I've read 2 so far @3Whuurs. They are slow, but excellent reads. "True Himmler" and The War Path". True Himmler is great writing, starts out as a 5 of 5, but then it disappointingly ends too soon. There should be a second book as it seems to have a large gap of time in Himmler's later life.
Unlike many, I can afford to pay $69 plus shipping for a great book (and these are that), but not everyone can, and given that the narrative Irving details differs from the common theme that Hitler was an out of control sociopathic monster, I believe the book should be available to folks that want historical truth but cannot afford it. That's why I posted the link here, and it was not to cheat Irving out of the money. It pisses me off that Amazon will not allow his new books to be sold there.
