The idea of "The Holocaust" began with a fictional TV "Mini Series" called "Holocaust" starring jew Merryl Streep that aired on network TV over several night in 1978. The name nor the concept of millions being purposefully systematically killed had never appeared in the previous 30 years after WW2.

Not one encyclopedia written in the years immediately following World War II or through the 1970s mentioned the event or any systematic killing. Churchill's extensive book series on World War II never mentioned it once.

Jews wrote numerous funny hilarious TV shows chuckling about the Nazis including Hogan's heroes immediately following World War II which included a cast member that it actually been in one of the POW camps and had a serial number tattooed on his arm. (Do you think he would have played such a chuckling lighthearted part if they had actually been killing camps? )
