While it's not like handing you an apple at all, a 1 pound apple would weight 2.5 pounds on Jupiter. Best we can do in this solar system. But it would weigh 1.3 million pounds on a white dwarf. Take that as an approximation.
Also, the climate model doesn't need to be separate. In fact, a flat earth model that coherently explains why everything we see is wrong would be an excellent flat earth model! Not having a working model at all raises more questions than a 5 year old child.
