Exactly. I'm not for any socialism but the central concept of socialism is a society in which the group as a whole is considered rather than the individual. The individual doesn't matter at all, and therefor the concept of rights are a non-matter in socialist philosophy where as they are a matter in enlightenment philosophy. The whole of all ideology with those properties is socialist. But the communists with their constant efforts to remap language to what is convenient to them makes a world in which words don't have specific meanings but instead have essence from their associative history. "Capitalism is racism because of the shared history of these concepts."

You can't debate in a world where words don't have strict meanings. Which is what they want. They want a world without meaningful debate. And if meaningful language disappears you can't ever put their ideas under real scrutiny.

I am not a socialist. I value the individual above the group. The group is always some degree of mad and the individual needs protection. And at the very least I value this particular individual over any of you. Period. If you feel similarly or feel that your responsibility is to your family before anything else then you are not a socialist. A lot of people have fallen for the national socialist trap, just because the national socialists named a lot of problems correctly. The simple act of calling a spade a spade, which anyone who actually has a spine could do, does not mean you have a monopoly on correct or useful political ideology. It's sort of like how when homeopathics point out all of the flaws of modern western medicine. Ok. That's correct to point out, but your ideas still need to be assessed on their own. Personally I like the idea of rights and some legal separations between me and the mob.
