You are oversimplifying everything. Just because there are other things you can point to doesn't mean they are as good as being legally unable to speak about jews. When I bring it up, receptive people are shocked by it to the point where I have to show them the law because they can't believe it. This literally snaps people awake. Meanwhile, the laws can be skirted around pretty easily in their current form, being almost toothless in effect.

I've often thought we could benefit from a subverse that focuses on the most impactful bite-sized pieces of propaganda. Part of the problem with waking up people is the breadth of evidence can't all be presented at once, and giving it to them piecemeal can be construed as cherry picking and doesn't paint the whole picture before they lose interest. Context matters. If they again made antisemitism punishable by death right now, that would be a net-positive because they would absolutely be overstepping their current capabilities.
