TS may be a shill and demoralizer, but unlike joe mccarth, he's never once demonstrated he doesn't believe in what he advocates.

His ideas are demoralizing because his ideas are essentially that violence works, and to anyone who by the necessity of the law, can't advocate that, yes, it can be demoralizing because if you follow what TS says then your future amounts to almost certain death or life in a zoo.

TS only advocates what he believes will work, and is against what he doesn't believe.

Unfortunately for some of us that are pacifists, knowing full well that while we don't agree with his beliefs, TS is probably right about what works. Expressing this is not the same as advocating it, it is only acknowledging that our beliefs, pacifism, put us at a decided disadvantage.

But you don't just give up what you believe simply because it is inconvenient to the times.

TS was the one that introduced me to this meme a long time ago, when he rebuked me for what he viewed as cowardice:
"If you're not at least capable of great destruction, you're not peaceful, you're harmless." or some variation thereof.
