Some time ago I reflected on the people who had gone through my life and asked myself who I wished I had kept in contact with (i.e. I made no effort) because they were decent folk who were worth knowing and this dude was one of them. There was only one other person and he didn't get back to me.

It was a very confronting time sending off my two emails. No replies for two months (the dude that did get back to me had a serious health issue which is why he took so long) but I was reminded of that saying:

"the chill a man feels when old friends stop returning calls".

There were two dames I did make an effort to keep in contact with but they ghosted me! Ah well.

So...some good news in my life!
