My boy asked for a treehouse a few days ago. We don't actually have any trees close to the house so we spent a few hours building a platform on some older timber I had in the garage. I think we need a few braces and a floor then we should be off to the races. He had a great time. He doesn't know it but we just built the new chicken coop, he will just got to play in it for a while before I take it to the back pasture. He liked holding the wood while I cut and handing me screws. It is a good size - 4x8 and 4 ft off the ground. It could have been more elaborate but that is about all the time and energy I have at the moment.

We also changed the spark plugs, filter and starter on the mower so that was another win.

Now we are watching ninja turtles cartoons from the 90s and I am about to fall asleep.
