I am particularly enamored by any culture that manages to successfully exclude outsiders. That is something to be admired, and I consider it part of the correct path to take.
External influence, while not inherently bad or evil, is not healthy to closed systems. This is generally true because outsiders have no skin in the game and may have motives that do not fit with those of the founding entities.
It's like letting the neighbors raise your kids. Sure maybe it's helpful, but eventually, you no longer drive the car.
Anyway thats the main thing I admire about them, despite thinking their beliefs are fucking silly.
They keep "the others" out very well and no one fights them on it. That's fucking beautiful, not to mention the fact that they're all white. Yea of all the people I dont agree with, I kinda like them. They're still fucking weird.
