◾The 42nd Ukrainian separate motorized infantry battalion decided to resist the command of the 57th brigade, and fled from their positions near Avdiivka.

◾They say that they are mainly from the Cherkasy region, mobilized. Regular officers throw them to the front, where they are massively destroyed by Russian artillery fire.

◾Losses are massive, they have no weapons to counter the Russian attacks from the sky and no artillery cover.

◾They aren't receiving any news from their home towns, they are angry and totally insubordinate

The front used to be over there on the right at Avdiivka. Ukrainians are really eating shit in the Pokrovsk region of the front, as the guy says. Kurakhove, being encircled in the lower left, is at the point of being overrun. Streetview image is near the western end of Kurakhove, looking west, at the current edge of the contested zone to the east. Unlike up in the incursion into the Russian Kursk region, Russians are cutting through their poorly manned defenses like it's just a few inexperienced guys.
