There's a reason to why mother nature lets certain species of animals go extinct - Because they're disrupting the ecocycle of life and do much damage than good because they don't have a natural predator. Much like HUMANS.

OH MY GOD HAVE HUMANS BEEN GENETICALLY BROUGHT BACK FROM EXTINCTION BY ALIENS AND THAT'S WHY WE DON'T HAVE ANY NATURAL PREDATORS!?
