That guy said he could easily make $130k driving (this was in 2012) and he didn't want to put up with the regulatory shit, and parts of the OTR lifestyle.
He even said they could monitor his truck's speed in real time, and would call him if his speed hit over 55-60mph on that day's drive. If he tried to drive extra miles, or didn't drive enough of them, then he would get called that day also.
