I just stick with raw, basic ingredients and they look fantastic on it, woof it down each and every meal. The only hassle is having their own fridge freezer, separate freezer, utensils and cleaning items.
It cured my one dog who could never have a firm poo, tried each and everything the vets wanted to do,all failed, tried every food on the market and in the process learned how dog food was made and then decided to never feed them that slop again. I don't think I would feed my worst enemy anything made like canned dog food is made, a Jew though, sure.
