I think you mean "round" and "tear", such as was done by other priests to honor the idols of the time. I assume your post is supposed to be some type of "gotcha" for the believers on this website, but you're going to have to use something more than a poor NIV translation to trip up anyone that isn't brand new. It might confuse someone that is on the brink or interested in Christianity, but then it would seem more feasible to use this tactic on a website that doesn't push for it's users to think beyond the surface level and ask questions.
Either way, I would recommend using something that isn't the NIV if you want to be cute with Bible verses (and maybe not focus on Levitical law, since I doubt many here are Levites, and most probably consider the Gospel to supersede as mentioned in Matthew).
