I just picked up a used Kubota B7200 4wd HST with only 1200 hrs from 82 yo neighbor for not a whole lot more. Verified the service records from the local tractor dealer. Now I gots' me two tractors. I also picked up a couple of the Pecron 3600 lithium iron phosphate power banks with 240v hub, plus solar panels as part of my emergency preps. I only buy practical shit
disrespectful neighbors suck. They just plain fucking suck. My neighbors across the street let their dog out at 3:45 AM every morning and the thing was shitting outside my door. My dog hears the fucking thing and starts growling, barking, waking my ass up. We live on a dirt road, 10 houses on the road and he is right across the street. I catch him in his yard, say "hey - can you not let your dog shit in my yard?" It stops for a few days, starts up again, I ask again, this time he doesn't even care - i catch him and say "pick it up." He starts yelling at me for making him pick up his dog shit, still doesn't stop. I blast an e-mail out the entire association and basically call the douche bag out for being a prick and ask for a vote - leash the dogs or allow them to roam / shit wherever they want. Get some comments supportive of my position. Finally it stops. It took a public shaming to get him to walk his dog, asshole. If there is an apartment manager or landlord, get him involved
actually reminds me of a story from my past tho. When I was like 25, I was framing houses for work and me and my boss would stop at this gas station because we were working right up the road. Beautiful chick was working behind the counter and I would chat it up with her when we went in there, total smoke show, thought she had a boyfriend, so played it cool. One day after work, we roll through, my boss and I both go in the store, I grab my after work coffee and as I am cashing out, I say "nice seeing you." give her a smile, didn't think anything of it. My boss comes out afterward, hops in the drivers seat and hands me her number, says "she wanted me to give this to you." I was all, HELL YEAH. I call her later that eve and she was down to get together. I'm like, cool -how about saturday and she replies with "how about now?" I was all HELL YEAH all over again. I give her directions to my place, I was basically renting a room in a house at the time, but had the place to myself this one night. She pulls in, i'm thinking - ok, we'll watch a flick, maybe mug it up on the couch a little, she'll drive home after we plan another date. SHe was wayyyy too cute to be easy-sleazy, first date fuck. Within 45 minutes, she's asking me to go to my room and fuck, we ended up doing a couple rounds of that and she takes off at like 1:00 AM. I tell my boss the next day and he takes complete credit for it, acts like I owe him something for it, LOL. GOOD TIMES
welp.. If she frequents upgoat i'd say your chances of getting remotely near that tall chicks cooch just went from .05% to .000000000001% (and even then, would likely take a good dose of chloroform
I was on a cert spree for a while (Cisco, CompTIA, ISC2, others). Truthfully, you can't pull one of these off without studying, so they are not useless. But job experience is where you actually learn how to troubleshoot
Day two of massive chem dump, horizon to horizon. The sky is basically a metallic grey of artificial cloud cover at this point. I was hopeful that they would put a stop to this insanity, but definitely not this week in NH
'how would you like to view this file?' You need the app installed for the file type. FOR EXAMPLE: If the file extension is '.pdf', you need adobe reader
https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions
Need a player for .mp4 files, need excel for .xls files, need word for .doc files, etc.
LOL who's the blowhard that came out with this cockamamie fantasy? You think Nuland, Blinken, Rice, Vindman would have met with Zelenskyy before his visit to the WH and coached him to stall any agreements with the Trump admin, if a rare earths / minerals deal was a path to US protection? Our government (under Trump 1.0) was building out Raytheon manufacturing for Patriot batteries in Poland to prep for this in 2018. The fact of the matter is that the writing is on the wall. Ukraine was bungled, the corruption too great, the ineptitude of our intelligence apparatus too disastrous (paying Ben Stiller and Sean Penn for photo ops? jeeeeeesh..), the grift was too large. A poorly executed gamble that has doomed the western ruling financial oligarchy. They lost but are in denial and willing to risk global annihilation instead of facing reality
probably right on all counts, but I have zero time or inclination to research alt's. I know this much: the institutional money is primarily in BTC and ETH, I am BTC maxi (spent too much time listening to saylor and keiser), I doubled down into this dip, with a buy on kraken this morning
Agreed. I use yandex.eu for english search (because .com is blocked). I remember when google destroyed all other search and produced results that were both relevant and useful. Now it's totally useless, broken beyond usability. Even for run of the mill tech questions
I woke up to a 10 degree NH morning. Stoked up the wood stove, brewed a pot of coffee and made scrambled eggs for the wife and I. Walked the dog, we went to lunch and went grocery shopping. Same thing I do every Saturday of my God-forsaken life. Oh well.. Thank you Lord for my job, house, health, wife and dog :)
If by useful you are referring to trade work, I worked on a framing crew for 10 years. Built my current house, built my last house. Was a self-employed builder / roofer. You want to talk about an influx of replacement labor to take over traditionally good-paying honest work take a stroll onto ANY residential or commercial development and gaze upon the swarms of bazillions of Brazilians, Chileans, ..you name the central or south American country, they come up here and collect welfare and EBT WHILE getting serious under-the-table bank for a few years, send it all back home, then head back and fucking retire. Brazilians OWN the roofing industry in the North East, they'll put 25 bodies on a 30 square job, strip and re-roof in a day and do it for 1/3 of what I would need to make it worth my while trying to keep things above board with workmans comp insurance. Trust me brother, i've seen replacement labor take work away from us all, in many different fields
I'm an IT support monkey. Have plenty of certs, degree, etc. The job market is abysmal right now in my space. Two recruiters have told me in the past couple of months that they are getting 200 resumes for every req. that opens up. I am working right now, but I have made more money - can I complain? No. Happy to have a gig. I think things are about to get REALLY bad with the economy. You might want to look into angling for disability and trying to finagle some under the table work machining part time. Just a thought, but I do wish you luck. I wish us all luck because I think my worst fears about a global collapse might be around the corner
My sister had a pet possum. She fed the thing so much that it got so friggin fat, it's eyes went cross-eyed. She would pick it up and it would grit it's yeller teeth and hiss like it would bite your dick off, but she would tickle the thing on its' belly, set it down and feed it until it looked like it might pop
You're in a tough spot. I grew up much like him, albeit long ago. My friends mostly all were in similar circumstances; broke and broken homes, no strong male role model. Luckily we had each other, so we taught each other how to navigate life. His position is not an easy one either and he needs to figure out things for himself, the only thing you can do is try to help guide his path, suggest direction, etc. He is entering the most difficult years of his life
