If your heart is telling you go west, that's what you need to do. I live in NH, the winters are cold, snowy and long. The summers are short (and this year so far, cloudy and cool). But, it's where I live
shit's pricey these days bro. Wife and I go to the budget market basket here in NH and spend easily $350/wk and it's just us two (i do buy the meat from a butcher shop tho)
cough *tear* phlem hack
Why would anyone want to smell like a chooch
Here is what you want to do bro. Move out to country. Buy a chain saw and a skil saw. Cut some timber and lumber. Saw dust from fresh pine is what excites women
When I was 25, landed a gig as a caretaker for a couple that was older, took care of their animals and dogs, did odd jobs on the weekends. No rent, they paid me 50 bucks a week and covered my food expenses (grocery receipts). Those gigs are out there, need to start fresh
Grew up in MA. In the exact area that the revolution kicked off. Went to the lexington green to hear Stuart Rhodes announce the formation of the oath keepers in April 2009. What a difference a couple hundred years makes! CIA and FBI crawling over the green filming a handful of lowly, poor and mostly clueless, freedom loving New England patriots listen to people speaking about an idea of military and law enforcement actually honoring their constitutional oath. They had the works out that day, i recall some 50'ish looking woman hop out of a nice rental nissan, don a weird wig and costume and get in front of every camera she could find to do weird shit with a magic wand. "poison the well" as it were. CIA considers no jobs too low for their (under)paid idiots. America has been in the fight for its' life since 1776
yes yes, that gangas smelling discharge is actually suitable as a pork marinade when mixed properly with jalapeno and tallow! Throw in a little acne extract to kick it up a notch! BAM!
I picked up one of those walmart pellet smokers / grill - like a pitboss lexington, was under 300 bucks. Was skeptical before I started using it. LAst week, mixed up some dry rub (brown sugar, mustard powder, paprika, cayenne and onion powder and, yes - even a little kosher salt), covered a long rack of st Louis ribs and sealed in cellophane over night, then set smoker to 225 with fire grate covered, placed ribs on rack and covered with foil. Let sit for 6 hours, removed foil. Slathered both sides with sweet baby rays original and turned heat up to 350 for another 40 minutes. Yeah, i'm a novice and people will say my method sucks but damn they were good (and cheap - like 9 bucks)
ya know, I was really hoping that RFK would put a stop to the chem trail program, the entire forest here in the north east is dying. Last Thursday up here we had a pristine, clear, blue-sky day. I thought, shit maybe they are winding this crap down. Come Friday, the streaks re-appeared and clouded the entire sky. Depressing
Mirrors MA and CA state laws. They target detachable magazines, magazine capacity and semi-auto, specifically. The primary reason is to render the citizen less powerful than the state. If all peoples can own the same class of battle rifle as those who function to protect the state, the outcome in any potential civil conflict is not in question. The founders were clear, the last available option of a free people against a tyrannical government was resistance and thus it was decided that there should be zero infringement on their capacity for self-defense
This appears to be a college course. If so, he paid (likely over-paid) for the course and technically she works for him. She was not offended by the hat. She was offended by the political messaging of the hat, which she is opposed to. He needs to lawyer up and sue the college / university. This was a civil rights violation, not to mention the fact that he was deprived of the education that he paid for.
Bro - I have to tell you, I have NEVER seen a job market like this. I have sent out a hundred plus resumes, have gotten to 2nd, 3rd, 4th round interviews and then an e-mail reply saying "sorry, keep looking". I have had a couple of promising interviews recently so things are looking up, plus I am still working so no where near as desperate as some of the posts i'll read on linkedin, but just a weird job market- shit loads of open req's / companies posting IT gigs, but also an increasing candidate pool due to layoffs.
We lost power from the ice storm here in south western NH. After taking a
stroll down the road and hearing all of the backup generators running
that kicked on, I thought I would pass this along in case anyone is
interested. I picked up this setup (including 240v hub) a while back
and I just switch my gentran switch over to backup power, this setup
works great. It beats running through expensive propane (I get
24 hours on a charge, given current power usage which
includes boiler, heat, outlets, refrigerator, well pump, etc). Recharging these
things takes about an hour from 0% (you can power the house from
outside generator while you charge them - then switch back over to
these from outside generator. Saves a lot of fuel..), you can set
these up so that they are automated and even run in UPS mode.
I was working the highest paid gig of my professional career. Making BANK (for me, anyway). Sysadmin at the largest defense contractor on the planet. They were the FIRST to mandate the jab in 2021. If you didn't show proof of vax by Oct 15 it was considered a resignation. Oct 15 was my last day. I found a gig at a shit MSSP after that taking a 60% pay cut. He wasn't forced to do anything, unless he was strapped to a gurney and forcibly injected
Grew up in MA. I'm the youngest of 6. Parents split when I was 12 (best day of my life. Old man was an abusive douche). My mother remarried and moved to FL when I was 18. Fast forward 25 years, her 2nd husband croaked and she is living on her own down there, constantly falling and getting injured. I was 43, still in MA, two oldest siblings dead from cancer, remaining three older than me are complete fuckups. She was a heavy drinker her entire adult life and when she hit 74 or so, she couldn't live on her own anymore. I found a HUD_subsidized apartment a mile away from where I was living and moved her up and in. Spent ten years after that taking care of her (grocery shopping, doctor appointments, dentist, hearing aids, you name it). When the covid bullshit went down, her health was going down hill fast. She rarely got off of her couch, had a pace maker installed, legs swelled up from failing heart, etc.. as much as I did for her she reached a point where she needed 24 hr attention. I found an assisted living home adjacent to a hospital and got her in (I make it sound simple and quick getting her into these places, but the application paper work and waiting lists are mind bogglingly long and complicated). Due to the covid crap, there was 6' distance rules when I went to visit, plexiglass barrier, she understood none of it, they couldn't keep her hearing aids working, they tried keeping a mask on her 24/7, total fucking cruel joke. She lasted only a few months in there before she died St. Patricks day, 2021. I did what I could for 10 years and still feel bad about the way she went out. I will never forget what the scum that rule this rock did to us all with that covid scam
I live on an association road, only ten houses, lake community where most people only come on during the weekend and really only want to party when they do come up. Association fees are cheap (like 600 bucks a year, to cover road maintenance). The biggest issues I have had are actually from the neighbors across the street, letting their dog shit on my yard. We got into it because they were too lazy to walk the dog in the morning or set up a cable run, they wanted to just open the door and let it out, then let it back in when it comes back. I didn't care when the dog was shitting in the other neighbors yard or even at the end of my driveway, but it started shitting EVERY DAY, right outside my door. I mentioned it, it stops for a day or two then starts again. AFter asking 1/2 dozen times, I walk outside, see shit, walk over to him and say "come here. Look (point to it), pick it up". He GOES OFF on me -looked like he was going to start crying (wtf?) as he's picking it up- it STILL doesn't stop. I then e-mailed the association and publicly shamed the prick - it stopped. SO I guess I was the karen in this case, but I have helped everyone on the road at one time or another - including him (especially him), i'm the only one with a tractor
