Pigeons, hand-written letters, direct conversations - anything low-tech for important stuff.
High-tech cops will get lazy: (When not targeted directly,) why bother going through the pains of capturing a pigeon or deciphering an innocent-looking letter of mr.X when you can press a button and get a whole dump of data on mr.Y and mrs.Z in a split second and have a looksee if they can be pinned as "terrorists"?
Leave your phone "clean enough" so you look like an average Joe, that just went to a wrong corner of the Internet, or at the very least sieg-heils with a beer in his other hand every 3rd Sunday = appear as a less worthy target.
If they come for you, they WILL get you - if they won't find anything, they will place sth of their own and work in hand with media to make the public go along with their narrative ("oy vey, he had 100GB of cp on his disk, for real", etc.), anyway.
We're at the point where your job is to stay away from the spotlight and pray/keep-fingers-crossed that it's not your turn. That and raise a lot of good, tightly-knit kids so they can take care of you and each other when the shit hits the fan (i.e. have your own doctor, lawyer, farmer, house-builder, banker etc. in your family, either as your own kid or married-in to them). You can only count on your own, after all.
and forced commenting breeds bs/empty/ccp-bait posting - it's a road to nowhere, as everything that is "forced".
And btw, up/down vote still IS interaction. An upvote to a meme is equivalent to a pat on the poster's back and that's all that's really needed in that situation.
If one's comment doesn't breed more comments it's just what it is - and forcing people to add meaningless "yeah, sure"s and "naw, dog"s will just clutter this place to oblivion.
F.e. Here we are.....discussing my opinion back & forth. Creating nested clutter.....to what end? How did it enrich me or you? And all because someone decided I have to blab like a woman in order to disagree with someone's opinion........ that's bs.
Basically this rule says "Agree with all the comments or start spamming" - you're not gonna change lurkers around into avid commenters, just because you enforce some bogus limit.
Poal did it: I have 1934 upvotes there and -1 score....fck 'em - I don't care about them enough to spam comments there. I was hoping to be spared of that here, though.
And how is up/down voting NOT participating? Even here, I bet, most of the funny/pics/memes posters do it for the upvotes aka "likes" and not for your actual comments...
I'd downvote this idea, but as a life-long lurker I don't generate CCPs (currently 0) to do that.....even though I have 314 vote score.
This idea sucks....this means that now I have to spam some bs comments like "Serves them right!" or "Oh, those pesky jews" all over the place, in hopes some kind niggerfaggot souls spare me a +1 CCP until I'm "tall enough" to be a proper voatizen again.
That is until you bump the limit again and I will have to go spamming again.
And yes...this also IS a plea for "+1"............ spare us some +1 oh ye kind niggerfaggots, the bad SYSTEM put us in the corner and laughs at the state of our naked CCPs, all the way to the bank.....
Great! Now we need an ever-growing list of subverses (preferably with short descriptions next to them - those could be pulled from [mandatory?] descriptions on the sidebars, made by sub-creators) so we can judge which of those we want to immediately subscribe to or block (f.e. I want to know all from "gaming", but don't care for f.e. "sports" to ever show up in "all").
