Trophies

It's not. If you had eyes you could see that.

No I never said that, you're making shit up. Calling me a stupid motherfucker smh

/v/cringe viewpost?postid=6445a5c346d6c

I'm not the one who talked about shooting cats, retard. Learn to read. Again, you're so stupid you read someone else's comment and attributed it to me.

/v/cringe viewpost?postid=6445a5c346d6c

You're so stupid you read someone else's comment and attributed it to me. All while raving like some sort of angry cat lady.
You sound like you're the city retard if you think "cleaning up the area" is possible to avoid mice issues in rural areas. Haysheds, barns, and garages around here always have mice problems. What are we going to do about it? Keep them out of our hay/corn/pea fields?
You're so salty and so angry that you doubt my claim that my backyard is an alfalfa field as if that is some sort of absurdity. Someone who lives on farmland who doesn't believe in cats? That things man-made traps are more effective than animals? Absolutely absurd. Unheard of. I don't know what I was thinking. Geez, when I read my own stories I sound like a tinfoil hat wearing lunatic!

>autistic city dwelling retard
My back yard is an alfalfa field, try again.
>thousands of years cats are used to rid the farms of rodents and pests
Then why did humans spend thousands of years inventing different versions of reusable mouse traps most commonly built by hand with materials you would find on a farm?
>They do a good job of it
I have a mousetrap that's made of a 5 gallon bucket filled with water, a wooden ramp, and a rotating steel rod that will catch 5+ in a single night. Even before I shot all the stray cats that were roaming around. Maybe the ones around here were just lazy.
>Go play your video games faggot
I think you have lots of underlying issues here that I lack the credentials to unpack.

They're about on par they just target different things.

/v/cringe viewpost?postid=6445a5c346d6c

Cats are an invasive species in the West and they hunt and kill for fun; not just when they are hungry. They've run dozens of species of bird extinct as well as some other small mammals and even amphibians. Most of the time, they don't eat their kills.
They are also less effective at killing pest animals like rats and mice than simple re-usable traps you can buy for $10.

The big bad scary world that was easier to succeed in than any other time in history including today. Which the boomers then ensured would not be passed down to their grandchildren. The tools to succeed that boomers voted to have ripped out of the hands of the future generations.
The fact that you believe young people continuing to live with their parents during an extreme economic recession makes them pieces of shit says more about you than it does about them.
Are there entitled youths out there? Yes. But they're still not as entitled as the boomers were.

You provided for yourself a life where you don't have to rely "on others" but what would your stance be when you reach the age you are too old to take care of yourself? Would you rather your children throw you to rot in retirement homes, have them take care of you, or just put yourself out of your and everyone else's misery?

Your very sentiments contradict each other. You talk about providing for your family but not relying on others. Are you going to be a repeat of the boomers and say "hey kids, you're 18. I know you have no work or life experience, the economy is in the toilet, job market is shit, and housing is through the roof. Better get out there and figure something out!" or are you going to grow up and realize that the traditional way of doing things worked for thousands of years and the break in the tradition as seen by the boomers didn't.

Assuming you're gen X and your parents were boomers I could totally understand why you would feel that way. Because the boomers treated their children just as poorly as they treated their parents. The breakdown of the family unit that everyone complains about on this site? Created by boomers. You're just echoing the schism.
Either that or you are a boomer lashing out because you feel personally attacked by the facts.

The boomer and gen X generations are very unique in that they are the only generations to not have 3-4 generations living under one roof all taking care of each other. It became quickly apparent to gen X and Millennials that keeping your kids around to take care of you into old age is a better alternative than rotting away in an assisted living home. Speaking of, the first assisted living home was founded in 1981. Boomers were the first generation to say "fuck you mom and dad, I don't want to take care of you and I don't care about anything you did for me."

/v/ShitBoomersSay viewpost?postid=6443ced8446dd

Let's not forget boomers were the first ones to throw away the idea of 3-4 generations living in one home taking care of each other. The first assisted living home was built in 1981. Boomers were the first ones to say "fuck you mom and dad, go have someone else take care of you." They were the first ones to tell their children "fuck letting you establish a career and stockpile a moderate savings, you're 18, get out of our house now"
Then they went and blew all their money, got to the age where they can't work anymore, and they sit in these retirement homes that they created rotting away whining about how their kids don't want to visit them, don't seem to give a shit about them, and how they can't afford to buy their mobility scooters because they saved none of their money.

Gen X is already starting to realize what a big fuck up that is and now they're more willing to accept the tradeoff of living with their kids into their 20s and 30s because having a family member that cares about you take care of you is better then being shipped off to an old folks home.
