Bitcoin is the core of the CBDC's or if you like the reserves (digital gold). Then you will have the big assets CBDC's, a value is pegged to the bitcoin core, financial institutions will use these. Then, we have the digital dollar or CBDC's for everyday folks. Those holding bitcoins will probably be confiscated and turned to CBDC's. The timeline is CBDC's started development in 2020, right now most countries are in testing phase, 2027 the EU will adopt CBDC's. Up to 2030, the rest of the world would follow. China and Russia are a little ahead, they are using different blockchains.
