Went to the local quickie mart for some mid-day beverages and this fat toll payer with nigglet on hip came in after me and upon my leaving, was parked right next to me. I was giving her the stink eye and I know she could feel it. I was trying to recall one of the funny phrases for a moment like this and I had some clues. Only trouble is I have not perfected these phrases and sayings for public use, so I didn’t say a thing. In retrospect it was perfect timing for the, “awe, are you baby sitting?, that’s so sweet”, or some shit.

I’m also not much into creating conflict, so I’m curious as to suggestions on how to proceed next time a fat White monkey manager shows up with its sprig.

I was once on a ship (an overnight ferry) and I booked a two bunk cabin rather than a deck-chair, which in hindsight was rather decadent.Presumably I could share quarters with another male. Anyway I opened the door to the cabin and saw female bits and pieces everywhere and I thought: "my luck is in!".So I snuggled up in bed and dozed off imagining she'd turn up and disrobe in a shaft of moonlight streaming through the porthole. I went to sleep and then the cabin door flung open, light switched on and there was a ship steward with a stern-faced old woman and her bemused daughter in tow. I was herded into another cabin. A mistake had been made. I ran into the couple at breakfast and apologised and tried to act hippie-cool (but sounded silly) by saying I thought it might be some woman who didn't worry about sharing a room with a bloke and she said something like: "and you got a 70 yo woman!". Not one of my more noble moments. When I f..k up I do it well.

I've managed to stay clean from Covid for 2 years straight since the beginning. Then I've got it right on last Christmas. Luckily it was the light version. What about you?

There were many movies about conspiracies in the 70's / 80's. I have learned a lot from those about not trusting the government and corporations. I wonder why boomers have not learned anything, if they were watching the same movies?

Is it like church, where the pastor, or rabbi picks out a small section of text to base his sermon around? How do we know this isn't the means in which they get together to plan and scheme? What would happen if a white goy such as myself just showed up and tried to attend?
