There is a new project underway which aims to be a sturdier vessel for Free Speech on Reddit like platforms: Plebbit.

One thing that is needed at the moment is a way of speeding up the peer-to-peer aspect, so that posting is more rapid. Clients with a different GUI might be popular too.

Faceless banned me from SoapBoxBanHammer. I believe I blocked the site in retaliation. Faceless unbanned me. I could post a submission to the subverse successfully that they can see, but I cannot get to the post or see anything in the subverse (including all the posts, while I can go "next" a lot until it runs out of pages). Also, the "Subscribe" and "Block" buttons in the upper-right area are disabled.

Can I un-delete a message?

Related: accidentally clicked delete on a PM. I don’t think there was a confirm message like “are you sure you want to delete this?” Maybe their should be?

There was a bug that got normal users banned on subs. Now the bug is fixed. If you see that you were banned by mistake, contact the mods of the subs where you were banned for no apparent reason.

When you click on the username of a user participating in the chat, it always goes to the profile page on Voat.xyz instead of Talk.lol if you're currently on Talk.lol.

Doesn't seem to happen with non-op comments in thread.

The "anon off" button inside of anon posts now remembers your selection and stays at whatever you set it.

Comments beyond 1st level comments are now displayed based on highest score.

Lots of link submissions are YouTube links (www, m. and youtu.be). It would be great if the video automatically embedded if you expand/open the post so you don't have to go to the YouTube site or app.

Starting this morning, most of the comments I post remain in the text box at the top of every voat page. As in, the last comment I submit will auto populate the text box on any voat page I open.

Editing a comment already posted seems to disable the bug, but it reappears after posting a new comment. Not consistently though.


Below text was in this text box when I opened this page. The process compressed the three paragraphs from my last comment into one, with the "\r\n\r\n" apparently denoting a new paragraph.
