3 judge panel ruled 2 - 1 in favor of reinstating OSHA mandate of employers with greater than 100 employees requiring their workers to be vaccinated or face steep penalties. The two judges who ruled for this were appointed by Obama and George W Bush, with a Trump appointee dissenting. Just in case you thought there was any ounce of freedom in the US left, be disabused of such a notion.

Supposedly "just for billionaires", this bill would make all long term investments un-desireable. It will be applied to everyone else soon after, and the billionaires will find a way to not pay it.

They want to tax your investments every time the stock market goes up, before you even sell the stock. If it goes up they tax you, if you sell it they tax you. If the investment goes down in value, well that's your problem.

This will wreck what's left of the economy, and that is obviously their goal before they roll out their new digital currency (FedCoin) as a replacement.

Actor Jackie Chan expressed a desire to join the Chinese Communist Party in comments last week at a China Film Association conference.

“Abroad they often say, ‘proud to be Chinese.’ I’m very lucky to be a Chinese person, but I also am very jealous that you all are Party members. I just think the Chinese Communist Party is really so magnificent,” Chan said in remarks translated by Variety. “What the Party says, what it promises, it doesn’t need 100 years to accomplish — it will definitely accomplish it in just a few decades. I want to be a Party member!”

Chan is from Hong Kong but has long been a backer of the CCP, serving in the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Some Hong Kong residents criticized Chan in 2019 for expressing support for China amid a crackdown on protesters in the formerly autonomous territory.
